My name is Sarah Yuen Gilliat and I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist, trained and certified by the Association of Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists (ARCH) in Canada, and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register in the UK and the Complementary and Natural healthcare Council in the UK.
I came to clinical hypnotherapy after a 30-year career as an international broadcast media journalist and filmmaker, and a government, corporate and military strategic communications consultant.
After spending two years in Afghanistan, participating in missions on the ground with combat troops, plus three decades covering conflicts and natural disasters around the world, I chose to study clinical hypnotherapy, specifically to help people traumatised by their life experiences, and with PTSD diagnoses.
Over the course of my training, I came to realise the full extent of the ‘conditions’ which clinical hypnotherapy can address, and how it can be used to improve a person’s overall health, self-control, positivity and performance.
The ARCH training was a revelation for me in so many ways. The power of the human mind is immense, and potentially limitless. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life helping others take back control of their body and achieving their full potential; professionally and personally.
I am based in Competa, in Andalucia in southern Spain, and in London, and I also spend considerable time in Hong Kong, and North America.
I provide individual and group online and face-to-face clinical hypnotherapy sessions, and I also present talks, seminars and workshops to myriad clients around the globe.
I am fully insured.
