Sarah Yuen is a clinical hypnotherapist, trained by the Association of Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists (ARCH) in Canada, which has a reciprocal agreement with clinical hypnotherapy registers in the UK, the US and Australia.
As well as being a clinical hypnotherapist, she is an international broadcast media veteran, and a government, corporate and military strategic communications consultant.
Sarah spent two years with British, American, Canadian and Afghan troops in Afghanistan, firstly as a media consultant to the UK military, and secondly as a consultant to NATO, also working as a combat camera operator, participating in military missions alongside troops. The extended time she spent with service personnel, and nearly three decades of covering conflicts and natural disasters around the World, cemented Sarah’s keen interest in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She chose to study clinical hypnotherapy specifically to help people traumatised by their life experiences.
Over the course of her training, Sarah came to realise the full extent of the ‘conditions’ which clinical hypnotherapy could address, and how it could be used to improve a person’s overall health, self control, positivity and performance.
“The year-long ARCH training was a revelation for me in so many ways,” said Sarah. “The power of the human mind is immense, and potentially limitless. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my career helping others take back control of their body and their lives, and achieving their full potential; professionally and personally.”
Sarah divides her time between Asia, the UK and North America and provides training seminars and individual counselling sessions as well as group online sessions.
