Stress and Insomnia

Symptoms of stress include difficulty sleeping, feeling tired all the time, constipation or  diarrhoea, poor concentration, memory loss, mood swings, angry outbursts, aggression, feeling helpless, lack of motivation and often excessive substance abuse.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a stress management tool which counters insomnia with almost immediate results. The deeply-relaxed trance state, characterised by hypnosis, is the perfect counter-measure to stress and restores the body’s normal sleeping pattern.  It gives the body a chance to decompress and begin replenishing exhausted energy reserves.

Also, once a person has been hypnotised by the hypnotherapist, they will find it is easy to go into hypnosis using a recording, which will reduce stress levels and reestablish a healthy sleeping pattern.

People who are suffering from PTSD are generally in a constant state of stress. Insomnia is nearly always a major issue. Their symptoms will benefit from hypnoanalysis, which will allow them to identify the root cause of their stressors. But the very process of hypnoanalysis will begin reducing their stress levels right away.
